When Will Americans Demand Obama's Resignation?

Why waste time with ‘tax day’ marches and protests? Why have ‘tea parties’ focused on the repeal of ObamaCare? Why strategize over another grassroots effort to derail another Politburo-style legislative initiative? The latest addition to the ongoing travesty is today’s insane announcement of the voluntary gutting of our nuclear defenses and deterrence strategy—but why do we continue in this mode of waiting to wake up each day to hear the next deliberate injury inflicted on America by this defiant, screw-the-people, radical leftist government that is determined to destroy the America of the founding?

There is one message and only message that must become the relentless focus of every protest, every speech, every sign, every fax, every email, and every twitter: Obama MUST resign the presidency.

The American people did not elect to be governed by this radical left agenda. Period. Americans would never voluntarily elect to be governed by this agenda. They could only be lied to and defrauded into accepting a candidate who concealed this agenda. No amount of manipulation and deceit by America’s completely discredited mainstream media is going to make the slightest difference in altering this fact. Revisionist history is not going to cut it; the vast majority of the American electorate, including a majority of those who voted for Obama, never saw this coming, and the blame for this is squarely on those who calculated and carried out the fraud—Obama/Reid/Pelosi/Soros and their media comrades.

The American people are dealing with the ‘media comrades’—Americans are turning away from them in droves, and the eventual result will their bankruptcy or their conservative American makeover. There isn’t an in-between outcome.

The remainder of the remedy is Obama’s resignation. No one, now or in the future, can be allowed to get away with this kind of deliberate deceit. We’ve exited forever the school of thought that says the American people get the government they deserve, and therefore they have only themselves to blame for the fraud that is now being perpetrated on them. No. The American people will give considerable latitude for exaggeration by a political candidate, and they will be honorable in allowing elected leaders to evolve and adjust their positions in light of new circumstances and events. But the Obama/Reid/Pelosi regime is wildly out-of-bounds in pursuing an agenda that is radical leftist to the core, with no legitimate basis for saying it was in front of the voters in 2008, or for the nonsense of justifying it as a product of later circumstances and ‘crises’. There was and is no crisis in healthcare; there was and is no crisis in energy resources or global warming; there is no crisis requiring the sellout and disparagement of every ally America has ever had. There is a crisis of lies and deceit afflicting America and the world, and the source is this lying and deceitful government. It needs to go; it must go.

Yes, we’re all in favor of a massive take-back of the government in the November 2010 elections; no, we’re not suggesting nor otherwise are we in favor of violence in the interim. But we also think it is time to stop circling around the elephant in the room and exclaiming about the mess he’s making to the room, and demanding that contractors and painters and maids do a better job cleaning up the mess. Obama and his agenda is the elephant in the room; he and his agenda is the mess; and the American people did NOT consent to have them in the room. They need to demand that he leave.

No doubt the Alinsky-ites of this administration are desperately hoping that Americans will cross some line of behavior so that all protest against this government can be characterized as a threat to security in the U.S. But demanding Obama’s resignation is not a violent act; it is not an unlawful act; it is the righteous demand of a good and decent people who did not, do not, and will not consent to have their nation hijacked by a fraudulent regime.

We have been calling for Obama’s resignation for a long time (survey our Essays, here) because we sensed the scope and intent of the fraud from the very beginning. Others also noticed, but they were in the minority for quite awhile and most, if not all, would balk at the sheer implausibility of achieving success in demanding Obama’s resignation. But the first step toward success is to make the demand, and to force the dialog surrounding that demand to focus on the central theme of fraud. This is the one word essence of why the American people are outraged and enraged, and why they should be.

A demand for Obama's resignation is nothing more or less than a patriotic display of respect for the America of the founding and for the office of the Presidency. Fraud does not entitle anyone to hold this office in this country.

When the demand for Obama’s resignation for fraud becomes the talk of the country—that’s when we’ll see the restoration of hope and positive change for all Americans. It’s time to get with the program.
