The Wheels are Coming Off
The Obama administration is not a smooth-running machine; it is a train speeding out of control and off the rails…expect a major crash, soon
Just prior to Obama’s inauguration,
we wrote:
“…there is going to be a short honeymoon for Obama, and if he starts off with a radical leftist anti-Christian agenda of government/Obama-as-the-new-god, he is going to find out just how far out of sync he is with the heart and soul of America. The nervous discontent that is already being felt at a grassroots level around the country could soon swell into a muffled and then open uproar of ‘who the hell is this guy?’ and ‘what have we done?’ that may rock the country and the world. The silver lining in all this is that the media will be incapable of stopping it because the media will have no idea why it is happening, and will keep telling itself it isn’t happening.”
We privately speculated that it would take about six months for the honeymoon to over. We also believed there would come a time when he might just crumple under the weight of management and leadership responsibility he has never had to carry, using a philosophy that only works in academia and left-wing salons but never in real life.
The six month mark approaches on July 20. The wheels are already coming off the Obama mystique/cult-train; they will be fully off the rails by then. Why? The list of reasons is proliferating every day, but here is a Top Five:
1. The economy is going to get worse and worse, because nothing Obama and the Democrats have done is capable of working in the real world. The outrageous, incomprehensible levels of spending cannot be done without surrender-level taxation or wildly out-of-control inflation. And never mind the economics terminology, the facts at the gut level are that economic growth follows from a free people living their lives and pursuing their dreams based on confidence in the future. The people are feeling less free every day; they have almost no confidence in their government. The economy will continue to get worse.
2. The truth is catching up to the global warming hoax
as junk science.
This is very powerful and wasn’t the case just a year or more ago. At that time, the discussion was not about the premise of whether there even is man-made global-warming—it was about what the fix should be. But as the Obama EPA has been caught
silencing skeptics,
the skeptics have proliferated, and they have data to back them up. The passage of the climate change bill—slammed through with no one having read it—was offensive to every engaged American without regard to the ‘science’ of global warming. As Americans have awakened to the fact that all along, this has been based on junk science, a double whammy is created that is white hot angry at the entire Washington establishment. The triple whammy has now arrived, as the protectionist measures of the bill—demanding that other countries abide by the same standards—stir angry, absolute refusals to comply from such major trading countries as India.
3. The world’s evil will not give Obama a free pass. His world apology tours; his dissing of allies, his support of tyrannical mullahs in Iran and would-be dictators in Honduras, his cutting of defense in the face of North Korea’s openly defiant threats, his back-of-the-hand treatment of Israel—all of these signal the weakness of an incompetent at best and a fool at worst. We pray that innocent Americans will be spared the catastrophes this man is inviting, but the hopeful point for now is that serious people in the Democrat Party now know they are dealing with a radical far-leftist, and they do not support him. You want evidence? Pravda wanted to make a story out of the 8 Republicans who voted for the climate change bill—but the real story was the 44 Democrats who voted against it. How could this be if Obama is so popular and in step with mainstream Democrat thinking?
4. There just isn’t a groundswell of genuine enthusiasm for nationalizing healthcare. ACORN may be able to rent-a-mob to create some theatrics, but that’s not reality. The economy is shaping everyone’s view of every issue, and there isn’t a winning argument that nationalizing healthcare will do anything to improve the economy, while most Americans have the intuition that it would likely make everything worse. The attempts to stir support for it just don’t ring true, and the echo chamber of Pravda just doesn’t matter anymore. There’s even a ripple effect from the global warming hoax—which is that Americans are getting tired of over-hyped crises as a basis for overwrought and overdone legislative fixes (if American health care is so bad, why do 80+% of Americans consistently say they are satisfied with their health insurance?) Democrats in the House and Senate know all of this, and Senate Democrats now know that with the clown Franken now among them, they own every decision from here on out.
5. The lapdog Pravda media is both obvious and offensive to every American with a pulse. Even a few of their members are starting to feel embarrassed, as staged ‘townhalls’ follow staged and scripted healthcare infomercials which follow staged and pre-screened press conference questions which follow a President hopelessly dependent on a teleprompter. Throw in Obama’s ‘evil eye’ adolescence, and the picture emerges of a lightweight, angry punk who nobody likes.
There has been an unmistakable ‘surge’ in the
Rasmussen poll
that nets those who strongly approve of what Obama is doing against those who strongly disapprove. We’re not a big fan of polls, but ‘tracking’ polls, if legitimately done, can at least highlight trends over time. From a +16 high, the poll findings have turned negative—i.e., those who strongly disapprove now outnumber those who strongly approve. This is going to turn even more negative, and comparatively quickly, because the disaster that is this man’s character and incompetence is becoming plain to anyone who has a shred of honest discernment capability.
We don’t think Obama is capable of ratcheting back his agenda to accommodate the shift in public attitude. He’s too much of a committed Marxist and too consumed by his messianic view of himself to exercise caution. He’s not used to being questioned, and he’s definitely not used to openly hostile opposition. But he’s going to get more of both, and the pace of this will accelerate. The result will be an unequivocal train wreck at the six month mark.
It’s been our view all along that Obama is a fraud and committed fraud on the American electorate in the election of 2008. We’ve noticed more and more commentators cataloging what Obama has done as President in comparison to what he promised or portrayed as a candidate. The conclusion is inescapable: the ‘two Obamas’ are not reconcilable. The commentators won’t call it fraud, and they run from the word ‘impeach’, but look for the sheer momentum of truth to finally take hold of this. This guy is a fraud; he committed fraud; and he should be
impeached and removed.
There’s no statute of limitations on fraud, but the six month mark would be a good time to get the conversation going. America does not need to put up with this.
