Unflinching Resolve: Remove this Government

America’s great need is to see the entirety of the Obama/Reid/Pelosi government removed from office—and without delay. America and the world cannot and should not have to wait two more years for this fraud to be unwound, and the evil ejected.

"Fraud" and "evil" are not words we’re supposed to use in describing or dealing with American government, but more and more Americans—we’d actually estimate that it is now a majority— know that is exactly what we’re dealing with. The Journo-list media would go apoplectic in denial of this fact and in orchestrated efforts to suppress it. But it’s there.

The Obama/Reid/Pelosi government is unraveling at an incredibly fast pace because the American people have stopped believing. Obama can do all the photo-ops he wants, can talk Alinsky-like about saving the economy and being pro-business, can resolve to blame Bush from here to eternity as more than enough justification to dismantle everything that made America—but Americans have nailed him as a fraud. Apart from the ruling classes’ chattering among themselves—which in the most generous of measures is not more than 20% of the American population—there is no one on board with Obama’s wild left agenda in any of its major directions: socialism in healthcare, socialism in energy, socialism in finance, secularism in society.

Now is the time for Americans to resolve as never before in their history that they cannot and will not permit themselves to be governed by a fraud. We firmly believe, and are confident Sam Adams—the inspiration for this website—would also believe, that Americans have it within their power to insist that Obama resign or be removed, NOW. The indignant scorn of the ruling class which says this must not be done, and the passive disputing of un-engaged Americans which says this cannot or should not be done, are not enough to withstand the righteous and moral demand of patriotic Americans to rid themselves of this abomination.

Keep raising the pressure, through tea parties and other protests, through townhall meetings during summer recesses; through conventional phone calls, faxes, emails, twitters, etc.; through breakthrough polling responses that finally achieve candor—and Obama can be forced out.

Which brings us to a couple of interesting thought-pieces over the weekend. The first was "It is us", a Ted Nugent op-ed in the Washington Times; the second was "Memo to the President", by Bill Kristol, writing in the Weekly Standard. They need the refining power of Brushfires of Freedom.

Nugent is a plain-talking conservative favorite; his piece is spot on in all ways in which he describes this outlaw, out-of-control regime. But while his premise—that all of this is Americans’ own damned fault for electing Obama in the first place—has some truth to it in a very big-picture sense, there is a faulty corollary that goes with it, which is that we have to endure it for four years because it is our fault.

No. Bernie Madoff’s clients were at fault for trusting him in the first place. But the fraud was perpetrated by Madoff, not his clients. Once the fraud became clear, they weren’t obligated to continue giving him their money, or sit passively while Madoff went on about his Ponzi scheme. They had the right to expect the operation of justice to stop him and put him in jail. There is no difference with Obama, and the fact that he has a four year term by operation of the Constitution does not settle the question. The moral law predates and outranks the Constitution, and the moral law demands an immediate remedy for fraud, just as it did with Madoff.

Bill Kristol is a 'ruling class' conservative pundit, sure to get invited to all the right Beltway/Manhattan parties if he’ll just stay within the ruling class’s boundaries for acceptable discourse from those with a conservative point of view. His “Memo to the President” offers three suggestions by which Obama can stop the slide in his approval rating and experience a successful Presidency. The substance of the suggestions is irrelevant (you can read them yourself through the links); the more important point is that Kristol’s is precisely the kind of piece that will be sure to gain a ruling class ‘attaboy’. It shows he wants the President to succeed (here, here!); it shows he realizes that all of this rabble-rousing about socialism is overblown (here, here, again!), and all anyone wants is for this little four-year blip to be managed well enough so that the ruling class will continue as the ruling class without interference from ‘extremists’ from left and right. Kristol can then be hailed as the right kind of conservative, who knows that all real members of the intelligentsia agree that there really is no such thing as truth, that both left and right have their valid points, and the real statesman of the ruling class knows that we just need to shake hands on a few give-and-takes, and then go have another drink while we wait for our limousine to pick us up and take us home.

Sorry, Bill. What’s at stake in America today is much bigger than any political personality. It’s far beyond identifying a few poll-tested hot buttons which if correctly pressed will put out the brushfires. So-called shrewd political strategizing will never contain it, much less manage it.

We’re in the Second American Revolution—the healthcare vote ignited it, and the Arizona lawsuit represents a new battlefield—and there isn’t going to be a managed solution that keeps this ruling class intact.

Once a fraud is uncovered and understood, it must be undone. The perpetrators are easily seen as indefensible evil, and very soon everyone who enables them, shields them, downplays them, or tries to preserve them is seen as part of the evil. And Americans know that when it is finally understood that it is evil that they are up against, there is only one solution, and that is to dismantle it.

What has been spectacular so far is how successful Americans have been at dismantling this administration without firing a shot. They have fought back in special elections; they have organized themselves into tea parties and made visible public protests; they have broken through to the consciences of all but the most die-hard leftist ideologues in Congress. And they become more determined with every passing day. We think they can’t be stopped, if they will just push on through to the logical conclusion of their demands.

So Mr. Nugent, it may be Americans’ fault that too many of us were asleep in 2008 (and for decades prior), but it’s to our credit that we’re awake now, and no one should take the position that we’re stuck. And Mr. Kristol, we’re in a war to preserve America, not a contest for attaboys on how to preserve, manage or contain the Obama fraud.

At Brushfires of Freedom, the preservation of America is a cause bigger than Obama. It is a cause that demands the removal of Obama. Join the cause!
