Obama's October 14 Town Hall

We don’t know whether Obama will go forward with a scheduled ‘town hall’ meeting on October 14 in the Washington, D.C. area. But if he does (as scheduled or in the future), and if you read or watch any Pravda coverage of it, just remember this little gem uncovered by the relentless activity of the worldwide web (in this case, through Flopping Aces ): an ad that appeared October 7 on the Back Stage website, soliciting actors and actresses to audition to appear at Obama’s town hall meeting on October 14. Take a look:

Town hall meetings are made up of ordinary citizens, right? Questions from citizens are just random—whatever is on somebody’s mind, right? You get to know the real ‘pulse’ of America, and the real Obama in these natural, down-home events, right?

What a farce and disgrace this administration has become. We daily witness a so-called President who can’t meet and talk with children without a teleprompter. While few serious observers have ever thought that town hall participants are truly selected at random or that questions are truly spontaneous, this has to be a new low—paid actors and actresses, selected to portray ‘diverse interests and political views’. So we can be sure that if Obama’s handlers want to enable him to take a swat at a tea party point of view, the casting call will have produced some tattooed, hayseed, racist-looking hick to voice the question, whereupon the Wise One will rise above it and give us the more intelligent, sophisticated and polished point of view.

The fraud that is this President and this government just never stops. They are truly trying to get Americans to believe in and accept the Potemkin Village they are portraying. But they are talking to themselves; nobody else is listening. Nobody is buying the lies anymore, on any subject—the economy, healthcare, national security, border security—and they know a huge rejection is coming on November 2nd. So don’t be surprised between now and then if the lies just get bigger and bolder and are screamed from the highest levels. They have lost the trust and love of the people; their only way to govern now is through fear and the threat of force.

It won’t work. The people at Back Stage have helped Americans understand why. Lies only have power when they are believed to be true. We’ve seen behind the curtain; there is no wizard. There is no superior intellect, no shrewd wisdom, no calm and collected persona. There is a façade, an empty suit, somebody who can’t function at all unless everything is staged and scripted. His gig is up.
