America Must Be Preserved; Obama Must Step Down

The clutter of contemporary analysis misses what is at stake whenever war is waged on America, as it most assuredly is being waged for so long as Obama and his radical leftists are occupying the executive branch of government. What is at stake is survival of the very ideal of individual freedom and responsibility under God.

There is no way to overstate the positive impact on humanity that came from the liberating concepts that all men (and women) are created equal by God, and that the rights to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness are individual and inalienable, because they come from the Creator. These ideals rid the world of aristrocracy, elitism, caste systems and class systems (they even deny genetics as the arbiter of life, but that’s a bigger subject for another day). They open up vast possibilities of innovation and improvement of the human condition, as individual capability is freed to find out just how unlimited and good it can be when shepherded by divinely guided moral living, or ‘righteousness’.

The American experience proves the truth and power of these ideals; it proves the divine origin of them. The human condition has vastly advanced in all ways since the advent of the American founding. And not just in America.

The divine origin of American ideals is why America as founded will be preserved; the unmistakable progress of humanity since the time of the American founding is why America must be preserved.

Unions are just another form of collectivism, socialism, communism, Islamism—all the ‘ism’s’—which are at their core an assault on individuality and God. They deny and dilute individual empowerment, responsibility and accountability in relation to ‘our Father which art in heaven…’ and replace it with group grievance and class warfare and an armed force called government or ‘the authorities’ to decide who gets what and who is allowed to do what. There is nothing about these ‘isms’ that inspires the soul; they are crass and debasing calls for dismissing and disparaging individual freedom in the name of power over others. Mobs may be whipped up by demagogues and paid for by union dues and George Soros’ billions, but there is no moral, sustaining force behind them. They are sound and fury, signifying nothing.

Barack Obama has made it plain that he has no grasp of American ideals or their importance to humanity. Whether through ignorance or malice, he and the entire executive branch of government are acting to destroy them. America and the world do not have the time to educate him out of ignorance (assuming he is open to learning, which he does not appear to be); and if he is acting with malice, he is manifestly unfit to lead the American nation. Either way, he is a fraud who needs to step down as President, and it is time for Americans to demand that he do so.

There is no American groundswell behind the orchestrated union protests in Wisconsin and elsewhere. None. But there is a moral force behind Americans’ demand for Obama’s resignation that Obama and his strategists cannot cope with. They will think it is just another phase of political gamesmanship and spin cycle management, but they are way out of their league. All that’s needed is the public call for resignation; the public rally demanding it. Obama and his strategists may think this is just what they want, so they can declare martial law, call on the military to put down the protests, and suspend the Constitution while they impose the controls they really want.

They are mistaken. America and Americans don’t work that way. Divine Providence and truth are beyond the reach of manipulation; they are power in and of themselves. The American people now include many generations who have lived and felt and know these facts. The American people will not bow to vile demagogues; they will not be whipped up and led around by media efforts at thought control. They will calmly but firmly trust in their ideals, follow what is written in their hearts, and they will prevail in this war.

Two things have dawned on the American people: America must be preserved; and Obama must step down as President.
