No Major Scandal?

The American people have been ready for months to remove Obama from the Presidency. They know he’s a fraud; he’s incompetent; he’s a radical left Chicago thug the American people would never have elected had the mainstream media not purposely conspired to prevent even a C-level vetting of who Obama was and is. The American people are increasingly frustrated that their elected representatives will not take action to end this fraud.

The American ruling class has so far been unwilling to come to grips with just how clear the picture is to the American people. But they will have to, soon enough. How do we know? One reason is that the ‘protective punditry’—meaning the establishment voices (RINO and Democrat) determined to hold the Obama administration together long enough to prevent what they think would be a destabilizing removal of Obama—are trotting out the theme that, as bad as Obama is in terms of incompetence, at least there is no major scandal associated with this administration. This is a ‘last line of defense’ intended to keep a lid on the anger and determination of the American people. It’s not going to hold; in fact, it’s going to break in a matter of days, not weeks.

We’ve written many times of the new media era; its ripple effects in society will be the subject of many studies in future years. But the simple point here is the mainstream media does not control the flow of information—and the information that is already digested by the American people on both the ‘fast and furious’ gun-running scandal and the Solyndra loan is understood to be enough to impeach and remove Obama.

Fast and furious is a massive perversion and distortion of the US Department of Justice to accomplish a Machiavellian plot to move US public opinion toward greater gun control. The basic plan: the US government hands out traceable guns to Mexican drug cartels, expects and facilitates gun-related violence on the US side of the border, publicly claims the guns came from US suppliers—and presto, the US government has manufactured a compelling case for tighter US gun control laws. This is as malicious and venal as anything done by a US government. It was approved at the highest level of the US government—namely, Barack Obama and Eric Holder—and no matter how hard they try to provide plausible deniability to Obama and Holder, it’s going to unravel and the truth will come out.

Solyndra is the $500M+ government loan to a now bankrupt solar cell manufacturer. As the financial details emerge, it was a loan that never, ever would have been made by any lender or investor operating with honest self-interest and integrity. The loan was a sure loser, not in hindsight, but at the time it was made. The apolitical officials of the government said so, but a lead investor in Solyndra was a bundler for the Obama campaign, and visited the White House four times just prior to approval of the loan. Only elites and their lawyers have trouble understanding this picture. It reeks of criminal misconduct; in the private sector, it would be akin to a bank loan officer participating in a false portrayal of the creditworthiness of a borrower, in order to pay off a crony who had previously paid him under the table. Everyone involved would go to jail.

The American people understand both of these scandals, and they know an American President was forced to resign over much less abusive behavior. They are major scandals; they are not going away; and they are not spinnable.

And so the American people continue to watch and wait and ask: when will the ruling class step up with character equal to that of the American people—and stop this fraud? The ‘yeah, Obama’s bad but there hasn’t been any major scandal’ ‘last line of defense’ is patently bogus and will collapse—and there aren’t any other lines of defense for Obama.
