We the People Must Repeal Obama

Americans – the freest people on earth, in the most divinely blessed nation on earth – were defrauded in the presidential election of 2008. We’ve said so over and over and over; we don’t wish we hadn’t said so; and we don’t take it all back. We’re still a little ahead of the groundswell of discontent that is gradually moving throughout the country. But make no mistake—the groundswell of discontent is building, and we believe it will culminate in a ‘peasants with pitchforks’ moment or series of moments which will demand—and we hope receive—the resignation of Barack Obama. That’s because the cumulative evidence of radicalism, of actions wildly out of synch with the mainstream of American ideals, of a man so arrogant yet so far over his head it’s cringe-level embarrassing—is growing every day, and there is no other way to characterize it but as overwhelming evidence of FRAUD. It has been implemented with Orwellian disinformation, and with such stunning stealth and reckless speed, running roughshod over legitimate democratic principles of debate and discussion, that there is no way to see its purpose as anything but malevolent. But the good news is that the total picture of this fraud has come into focus so quickly and sharply that many who would otherwise sleep through the whole experience are waking up. Apathy and complacency about American ideals have received a major jolt, and just in time.

In the immediate aftermath of the Pearl Harbor attacks in 1941, Imperial Admiral Yamamoto, who planned and coordinated the Japanese attack, is reported to have said something like "I'm afraid all we've done is awaken a sleeping giant and instilled in him a terrible resolve." Our feeling is that the breathtaking overreach of Obama and his band of left-wing ideologues has awakened the America-loving, God-loving, Christian soul of this nation. That soul has been weakened by affluence and the absence of in-your-face war, which has led to decades of gradual appeasement with all sorts of moral evil, in the hopes that niceness and ‘going along to get along’ represent a virtuous alternative path. But a weakened soul is not a lost soul.

American ideals are grounded in the truth of God and of man in God’s image and likeness. These ideals—which Brushfires distills into individual freedom and responsibility under God — are hard-wired into the hearts of Americans and all human beings. Americans—and all human beings feel when those ideals are under attack, because an attack on individual freedom and responsibility under God is an attack on the soul. Doesn’t matter whether we fill out a voter registration card with a “D” or an “R” or an “I” or something else. Doesn't matter what color our skin is, or what languages are spoken in our home. Doesn't matter whether we're male or female. Doesn't matter where we go to church. We all feel the attack. It is evil. And it will be resisted and it will be defeated. Why? As an American President once said, “Freedom and fear … have always been at war, and we know that God is not neutral between them.”

America has a government of the people, by the people and for the people. And the people are going to take it back. We can’t predict when and in what form the decisive protests will take place, but we do predict they will take place. And that’s with full knowledge of all the naysayers’ arguments—we understand them better than the naysayers do. We know all about election intervals; we know all about the American spirit of decency, patience, and ‘give him a chance’; we know all about ‘proper’ legal procedures of impeachment and removal. We know all about inertia inside the Beltway, and the elitist opinion of what can or can't, or should or shouldn't be done. But we know something else that the naysayers don’t, and that’s the power of Truth. We know there is a connection between God, Christianity, freedom, human progress and America. Obama is fighting against this connection, and he will not and cannot win. God is not neutral in this fight. Obama is failing already and will continue to fail. And he will be called upon to resign because of the fraud he has committed. We believe he should, and he will.
