Permission to Remove
Two recent news items: (1) the Washington Post
publishes an op-ed
by Democrat strategists suggesting that Obama should announce now that he is not running for re-election in 2012; and (2) MSNBC airs
a segment of the Joe Scarborough show
that includes double confirmation that at least seven senior Democrat Senators are privately but frequently complaining that Obama has no idea what he’s doing.
It is nothing more than stating the obvious to observe that what is published in the Washington Post and aired on MSNBC is in substance and tone a tiny fraction of what is being thought and said behind the scenes but NOT published or aired.
The WaPo piece can be dressed up in all sorts of high-minded rationalizations and justifications, but the end message is: this guy needs to the exit the stage. And the MSNBC segment can be dismissed as just another inside-politics gossip show, but the window on elitist thought points to essentially the same message: we have an exposed incompetent and radically out-of-touch and wildly-over-his-head person in the White House, and this can’t continue.
Our take is that these are two more ‘condition-setters’ for removing Obama from office before 2012. They are right out of the mainstream of ruling class liberalism, and not too far from the mainstream are
stories surfacing
about Obama’s mental instability, depression and ongoing medication. They are making it ok to agree that
Obama must go.
All that is missing are a few choice revelations of personal background fraud by Obama, and the removal train will have left the station and will be picking up ‘unstoppable’ steam. Even in this ‘background’ realm, this week marked the first widespread disclosure
by both the New York Times and the Washington Post
of the fact that Obama had a transvestite nanny during his years growing up in Indonesia.
No one will point to this fact as evidence of personal fraud, and everyone knows that politically correct orthodoxy demands a ‘so what?’ non-chalance about a young bi-racial boy growing up with an openly gay transvestite nanny in an Islamic state. But in the privacy of conscience, most serious people cringe at this picture. It becomes just one more example of the many ways this guy does not relate to average Americans, and will never connect with them. It, too, is making it ok for leaders of the Democrat Party to agree that this guy cannot continue to be the face of the Democrat Party for another election cycle.
Don’t be surprised if these ‘permission to remove’ table-setting stories start popping up more frequently and in any more places. There are plenty of ruling class Democrats getting quite edgy. They know the mood of the country is increasingly hostile to this administration, and they are out of ways to spin a plea for patience and forbearance. Right now they are still held in check by their fear of losing Soros’ money, but soon they are going to recognize that all the money in the world is not going to save them.
The conservative opposition to Obama will probably freak out initially at Democrat readiness and plans for removing Obama. They will wallow in calculations of political fallout, and a few will have serious qualms about the reactions of the black community. But in a very short time, they will arrive at the conclusion that this really isn’t a matter of race, and in the highest and best sense, it’s not really even a matter of politics. It’s a matter of defending and preserving the America of the founding, and every American benefits when elected officials rise to do so.
The nation is getting ready to give its collective
permission to remove Obama
from the Presidency—a step that will be good for America, the world, and even Obama.
