America Will Not Fail

Few years have been so marked by predictions of disaster and collapse and catastrophe than 2012 in America.

A radical leftist anti-American President continues to hold office despite having been fully exposed to the American people for the radical leftist anti-American fraud that he is. Elitist America continues to be in denial over the unsustainable structure of American debt and spending. A criminal Department of Justice blatantly and admittedly lies to Congress about the scope, intent and authorization of Operation Fast and Furious, and nothing remotely resembling the concept of accountability and responsibility is apparent from anyone in official Washington. And Afghanistan, Iraq, Iran, Egypt, Pakistan and other parts of the Muslim world are springing into Islamic extremism—while an American White House applauds or simply gazes vacuously from the perspective of practiced moral relativism, and does nothing.

Meanwhile, a field of Republican Presidential candidates is constantly belittled as inadequate to the office of the Presidency and so inept as campaigners as to be certain to hand re-election to Obama in the all-important election of November 2012.

More than a few pundits and assorted wise men and women have proclaimed that America as founded hangs in the balance; even that the abyss of another Dark Ages looms if Americans cannot regain their footing as a Judeo-Christian society and culture that serves as the shining city on an hill for all of humanity.

The picture on the first day of 2012 does appear to be dark and foreboding. And emerging from it is not going to be a walk through a path of flowers. But America as founded will not fail.

While the dangers and threats are significant, we believe there has never been a time when more Americans have been alert to the nature and extent of those dangers and threats—and more determined to eradicate them. They will do so at the ballot box in November and will follow up with pressure on those elected until America’s three branches of government are restored to something much, much closer to what they were intended to be by the framers of the Constitution.

Americans will not be baited into violence by Obama’s rhetoric or ‘occupier’ idiocy; they will not descend into the generational self-centeredness or myopia that would block necessary entitlement and spending reform; they will rise to honor and preserve the greatness and goodness of their Judeo-Christian heritage; they will not need, want or tolerate the idea of a Presidential candidate needing to be a savior but will instead reawaken to the fact that it is only ‘we the people’ who can and will save the country; and they will accelerate a cleansing upheaval in the nation’s media by simply driving them into bankruptcy by turning away from them.

They will throw Obama out, resoundingly, in November (if he is not impeached and removed before)—and that will happen whether or not he is running with Hillary Clinton as his VP. And when a new President and new Congress takes office in January 2013, America will be setting course for a moral, spiritual and economic recovery on a scale never seen before. It may take 20 years to make the recovery as complete and thorough as it needs to be, but the launching point will be noticeable and profound: the election of 2012.

Why will this happen? How can anyone be confident in the face of the abject evil that appears to be ‘running to and fro’ in American government today?

Very simple. America’s founding principles are not borne of human cleverness, nor are they an accident of history. They are grounded in truth itself, and their appearance marked a milestone in the upward trajectory of mankind toward the higher, deeper understanding of what the founders called “Nature, and Nature’s God”, and of mankind’s relationship to that God. As such, these principles are self-sustaining and have weathered and will weather any and all attacks. Truth prevails, always.

The attacks of today are relentless and often aggressively and deceitfully manipulative of popular opinion, and they may cause many dark moments on their path to eradication, but humanity’s inherent capacity for prayer, and for faith and trust in God, is the stronger force that cannot be manipulated out of existence, and will lead the way. The founders proved this; so did George Washington, Abraham Lincoln, and Ronald Reagan. The American tea party movement stands on the shoulders of these men, and it will not rest until the full victory is won.

The elites will snicker at such talk of prayer, and for faith and trust in God, and many of the spiritually ignorant will also scoff. As they have since time began. And they will watch with wonder as they are proven wrong. As they have since time began.

America will not fail.
