Not the Obama We Knew...Not the Government We Chose[Note: This Brushfires essay was first posted on April 21, but it deserves 'home page' billing again. Obama's behavior toward Muslims; his behavior toward Israel; and now his comment that "America is one of the largest Muslim countries in the world", which followed his declaration that America is "not a Christian nation" has, to put it gently, come as a surprise to the American electorate that voted in November 2008. The conclusion is obvious to any American with a conscience: this man deliberately concealed who he was--i.e., Obama committed fraud--in the election of 2008. He must be removed from office. No violence is necessary or advocated, but impeachment procedures may also not be necessary if the political power of an engaged and enraged citizenry can be focused and brought to bear on the DC Political Class. (See "Americans Can Stop This Trip to Abilene" ). It is up to the American people to make it happen, and in doing so they will also have to overcome a mesmerized and intransigent Pravda media. We think it will happen. The moral outrage and indignation that is sweeping this country (whether or not Pravda reports it) has behind it the power of truth. No man, no political party, and no government can withstand, defeat or outsmart this power. This is one of most outrageous and damaging frauds ever perpetrated in human political history, and it will not stand. Note posted June 3, 2009] ______________________ The American people watched Obama throw longtime friends and confidants under the bus during the 2008 campaign—as in “that’s not the Jeremiah Wright I knew”—and then watched the Pravda media bow and obey and spread the fundamental lie that we are not known by the company we keep. For those who love the karma captured by ‘what goes around comes around’, Obama is about to be thrown under the bus of the American people, as they have come to recognize that President Obama is not the Barack Obama they thought they knew, and his administration is not the government they chose. The battleship of public thought may be slow to turn, and the Pravda media will do everything possible to make it seem even slower, but make no mistake, it has turned. Obama doesn’t know it yet; he’s surrounded by sycophants and fools and elitists and leftist ideologues whose unifying characteristic is a belief that there is no independent standard of truth; no principled basis for determining right from wrong, or good from evil. They believe truth and good are whatever they declare them to be, and evil is whoever does not agree with their declaration. In the simplest and most important of terms, they believe there is no God. And that’s why they can’t see or believe when the public thought has turned on them—because it is truth that is doing the turning. A phony stimulus. Continued earmarks in the face of promises to eliminate earmarks. Firing private sector CEO’s. Expressing phony outrage over government–approved bonuses, and then imposing a banana republic 90% after-the-fact punitive tax on government-approved bonuses. Scolding past administrations which ran up deficits, then quadrupling them into unheard of trillion dollar deficits. Bowing to Muslims, and praising Islam’s influence on America. Denying America is a Christian nation. Palling around with Chavez. Siccing the DHS on ‘right-wing extremists’ defined to include those that oppose abortion or disapprove amnesty for illegal immigrants or, of all things, served in the American military. Releasing CIA interrogation techniques. Implementing back-door nationalization of banks and auto companies. This is just a partial list, but any single item is enough to constitute a tipping point to an awake American. Together, and with an ever-awakening American population, the turning point of public thought was reached awhile ago. This just isn’t America. Even 75% of registered Democrats know this isn’t America. This is George Soros’ move to destroy America, destroy Judeo-Christian values, and replace everything with his 'open society'. This wouldn’t have received 25% of the vote in November 2008 had even half of it been fairly and openly disclosed or discussed. We have the sense that Soros and Obama and others who are really calling the shots know that time is not on their side—that’s why Obama is moving with near breakneck speed to undercut as much of the American constitutional republic as he can before the lies catch up to him. It’s a gross miscalculation, because what all these actions are really doing is bringing into focus—faster, clearer, and to a wider audience in America—the theme that Brushfires has harped on for months: Obama’s election was a fraud on America. (See the sampling of Brushfires essays below.) The remedy for fraud is rescission; the remedy for fraud in an election is resignation. Establishment politicians don’t have the guts to venture anywhere near a sentence that includes the words Obama, fraud and resignation. But the people do (and Brushfires does). The tea parties were not about policy, and they were not about personality. They were a manifestation of anger and frustration over a government that is arrogant, out-of-control, and not what any voter thought was even on the table in November 2008. The tea parties were a response to the fraud of November 2008. Sooner or later, a leader will emerge who will speak these words. He or she is likely to be the next leader of the free world… Far from disappearing, the fraud is increasingly evident every day. And the people’s anger is rising. PR stunts—like Cabinet meetings to cut a few million off a trillion dollar budget—are not going to satisfy the people. The battleship of public thought has turned. Tea parties are just the beginning. Even among most Democrats, President Obama is not the Obama they knew; and for an increasingly large majority of Americans, the Obama administration is not the government they chose. Americans are going to restore the America they love. The divine Providence so often cited by the founding fathers will have a hand in this.
