This Must Not Stand

Now is not the time for retreat to ‘rebuild’ the conservative movement. It is not the time for ritual calls for grace in defeat. It is manifestly not the time to hallow traditional calls to ‘respect the wishes of the majority’. If America had been asked to vote for either blue or red, and the majority voted blue, while blue was always a lie and in fact was yellow, then there are no ‘wishes of the majority’ to respect. There is no reason for grace. There is nothing to rebuild. There is simply a fraud that must be undone.

America has been hijacked by lies—by the provable, deliberate withholding of the truth. The LA Times’ refusal to reveal the Khalidi tape is just one example. The ‘sealed’ records surrounding Obama’s birthplace may be another. The deliberate suppression by the media of Obama’s personal records and of the extent of his personal associations is yet another. The collective impact of the orchestrated misrepresentation of who this man is, was an out and out fraud on the American people.

The ‘get over it’ crowd would argue that lies and distortions are a part of every campaign, and that the election campaign of 2008 was within the bounds of normal and acceptable. It wasn’t. The rose-colored glasses crowd will argue that we need to ‘give the guy a chance to grow into the office’. We don’t. The philosophical, ‘big-picture’ crowd would argue that in the largest sense, ‘we the people’ get what we deserve, including deliberate lies by our media, and so we have to live with what ‘we’ are. We don’t. The “don’t bother tilting at windmills’ crowd will point to legalities and procedures and conclude resistance is futile. It isn’t. The faux historians will argue ‘don’t worry, America has survived worse than this’. They’re wrong.

We are a nation descended from the revolutionary idea of individual freedom and responsibility under God. Our heritage is to refuse to be subject to the arbitrary, rigged rule of elitists. And the very idea of responsibility under God flows from the existence of truth, and the need for fidelity to it. The fiery spirit of the American Revolution needs to re-ignite, right now.

A good place to start is the complete chase down of the facts of Obama’s birthplace and constitutional qualification to be President. If the result is the need to force a constitutional crisis to remove him, then force it we must. If the Constitution can be ignored on this most fundamental and crystal clear principle, then the Constitution is gone, and so is America.

If the facts can be shown that Obama is constitutionally qualified to be President (they can’t, or we would have seen those facts already), then we’ll need to move on to other creative means of pre-inaugural rescission or reversal and, later, actual impeachment. What are they?

Let’s find out. Where there’s the will, there’s a way. There are lots of brilliant, passionate, patriotic, creative, conservative thinkers throughout this country—if we have the will, we’ll find the way.

The spirit of America is calling; the shining city on a hill is about to go dark. We can’t afford to wait four years or even two years to reverse this. The founding fathers pledged and in most cases actually gave their lives, fortunes and sacred honor to create America; surely we can do something to save her. Now.
