Americans: Time to Make History

Obama’s support for the mosque at Ground Zero—announced at a White House dinner celebrating Ramadan—no matter how he may try to walk it back (or be begged by other Democrats to retract it altogether) may be the trigger for an American history-making event: a populist uprising that will not be stopped until Obama resigns the office of the Presidency.

Obamacare was passed against the will of the American people (and 71% of Missourians just recently endorsed its repeal); the Arizona lawsuit was filed against the will of the American people (about 70% of the American people support Arizona’s effort to enforce the law); a Supreme Court Justice was approved against the will of the American people, and against a backdrop of a de facto clone of Elena Kagan ruling against the will of about 70% of the American people on the subject of marriage between one man and one woman; and the Democrats are threatening to use the coming lame-duck session of Congress to go against the will of probably 90% of the American people.

And now Obama, an unquestioned Muslim sympathizer increasingly seen as a practicing Muslim, steps in to support the mosque at Ground Zero—an action opposed, again, by about 70% of the American people.

The Pravda media is aware of all this, and will continue to try and steer attention to something else. But what they don’t know is this: these 70% majorities do not represent mere mathematical tallies; they represent an increasingly angry, outraged, we-have-been-defrauded populace that is not going to keep taking this lying down.

Historians and political scientists and assorted other left-wing punditry will try to place these events in perspective, puff on the pipe and stroke the beard on the chin, and assure us that America has faced many difficult challenges and many controversial issues, and these are just the latest examples. Nothing really unusual; nothing extreme. They are dead wrong.

The heart and soul of America is being laughed at, pilloried, and disdained by godless intellectual elites. There is definitely nothing unusual about that, but the pace of it all, the range of subjects that it covers, and now this culminating piece of in-your-face honoring of Islam at a time when the vast majority of Americans have come up the Islamic learning curve and now know full well—whether or not they say it in public places—that sharia law in America is not what the founders had in mind when they wrote of freedom of religion. Obama’s speechwriters may think that sixth grade civics jargon will carry the day on this issue, but it won’t. The American people are smarter than that.

We wish we had a dollar for every time we’ve heard someone speak of how 9/11 changed their worldview, and how they made up their mind right then and there to find out what this Islamist stuff was all about. With the help of American heroes like Andy McCarthy, they know. The number of truly informed people who think the GZM is about nothing more than freedom of religion is tiny; in fact, we’d go so far as to say no one who is truly informed about Islamic theology and sharia law could possibly think that these can continue coexisting in America. Forget the historians and political scientists and left-wing punditry. Forget the ruling class’ stammering the over-used and empty description of Obama’s actions as ‘deeply troubling’. They are unconscionable, indefensible.

Obama has consciously and deliberately defied the will of the American people like no other President, ever. He is President after having defrauded the American people as to who he was and what he believed. It is unprecedented. And it is time for the American people to make history: to unite in taking unprecedented action to demand and demand and DEMAND that this President be removed from office, NOW. The fraud has gone on long enough. The protests, the demonstrations, the emails, the phone calls must relentlessly accelerate and expand until the ruling class has no choice but to obey the will of the people.

The cowardly chattering classes will fret about violence. This shouldn’t be violent; it should be the most peaceful transition imaginable. It’s following the will of 70% of the American people!
