How Many More Lies will Americans Take?

News item on the economy: a plainly anemic job creation report is issued by the US government, accompanied a complete non sequitur announcement that the unemployment rate had sharply declined, which Pravda is then cued to cite as evidence of the clear economic recovery that is ongoing.

News item on foreign policy: the US Director of National Intelligence James Clapper tells the Congress that the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt is ‘largely secular’ and opposed to al Qaeda.

These two items encapsulate why Americans know they have entered a danger zone perhaps unlike any in their history, and why they are wondering if their country can survive it. The country can survive and will, but Americans are going to have inject courage and backbone into their elected officials—and make them act now to impeach and remove Obama.

But back to the two news items. These are truly Orwellian; they evidence conscious deceit and evil on a scale Americans have never seen from their government.

There is no economic recovery going on. The unemployment rate is in double digits and growing. Gasoline prices, and everything impacted by gasoline prices (which is almost everything) are rising; the housing industry is dead; federal spending and budget deficits are at record levels and are plainly unsustainable. Economic growth cannot possibly emerge from these conditions. Unless and until concrete action is taken to cut federal government spending (and borrowing), there is in no way, shape or form any semblance of economic growth or progress on the horizon. None. And the American people know it.

We have read at least three news accounts regarding the Department of Labor’s recent report (including that of the normally reliable Wall Street Journal) and not one of them makes any sense at all. Doesn’t matter how many times you read them. That’s because there is no sense to be made out of them. They are lies.

What’s happened? A recent poll says 68% of Americans disapprove of Obama’s handling of the economy—confirming the obvious—and since the radical leftists don’t know any other policy levers to pull, they turn to lies: false labor statistics released in an effort to fix the polls. Obama administration types believe they can tap into what they think is a never-ending willingness by Americans to presume that ‘surely the government wouldn’t just lie’; whereupon gullible Americans will read the economic gibberish and dutifully assume it must be true.

Obama doesn’t know America and he doesn’t know Americans. Americans are awake as never before and they are not buying the lies. They are instead fuming at this treatment that assumes them to be ignorant and manipulable fools.

This is in fact deceit and manipulation on a level that is breathtaking; it is unconscionable. It is part of a pattern of deceit that warrants impeachment and removal of Obama immediately. And that’s before Clapper opened his mouth.

James Clapper first appeared on the scene with a stunning, inexcusable display of incompetence which we wrote about here. It was obvious then that he is not a serious official of the US government, but is some kind of political hack who will give voice and ‘intelligence’ backup to Obama’s left-wing worldview. But his comments on the Muslim Brotherhood go beyond inexcusable incompetence. There is no way to not know what the Muslim Brotherhood stands for; their charter speaks for itself.

Clapper can hide all he wants behind euphemisms and semantics, but what he is doing is consciously and deliberately voicing untruths in an effort to provide political cover for Obama’s desire to reward militant Islamists with greater power in Egypt. Clapper’s behavior warrants immediate dismissal, but it won’t happen because he’s doing the bidding of his boss. It is his boss who must be fired, and fired immediately. And that means impeachment and removal.

Americans are out of patience with Obama; they know he cannot be trusted with the Presidency any longer; they are attuned to the extreme dangers posed by Obama continuing as President. They are ready to have him removed from office; it’s only the elitist ruling class that is blocking the people. We don’t think they will be able to continue to block the people.

Americans who want Obama removed are not some minor fringe element; they are not rabid partisans; they comprise and large and growing majority of the citizens of this country. They are not unmindful of the seriousness of impeachment and removal, but they are even more mindful of the deliberate effort to destroy the America of the founding that Obama and his inner circle are plainly pursuing. They never elected anyone to do this; they never will elect anyone to do this. Obama was elected because he lied about who he was and what he believed and what he intended to do.

Americans are fed up with the lies and the liars that have permeated and infiltrated the entire executive branch of the federal government; they want Obama removed from office, and everything he is doing to be stopped and reversed, NOW.

Americans will not take any more lies.
