"Let's Roll!" Means NO to Kagan

We wrote recently that it’s “let’s roll!” time again in America (click here). Americans all across this country know their government has been effectively hijacked by radical leftists. This is not a colorful metaphor intended for entertainment; the September 11 hijackings represent a spot on analogy to what is taking place. Posers—people who disguised their real intentions in order to gain the trust of those fooled by the disguise (just like plainclothes Muslim hijackers)—have taken control of the levers of American government, and unspeakable disaster is coming unless we get rise up and get tough, just like Todd Beamer.

The nomination of Elena Kagan is an act of these hijackers, which by itself is enough reason to reject her. But let’s be more specific about the setting we are in.

The agenda and course this administration is taking has never won election in America and never would win election in America if presented without fraud and deceit. Obama is a fraud—not only did he lie and mislead and withhold information germane to his qualifications to be President (and yes, one aspect of qualifications includes the fundamental question of constitutional eligibility); he lied and misled and withheld information about his radical leftist philosophy. As we’ve said over and over on this site, his election was a fraud on the American people; and the only possible remedy is to call him on it, stop everything he is doing and remove every one of his Democrat or Republican supporters from any office in federal or state government.

The demand to stop everything he is doing includes specifically the nomination of anyone he appoints to the Supreme Court. Doesn’t matter what Kagan’s qualifications or lack of qualifications are, she needs to be defeated because she has been appointed by a fraud. If it takes a filibuster until the 2012 election, Republicans need to do it on this principle alone.

Oh gee, isn’t all this a little extreme and overwrought? No. What is extreme is what Obama and his radical leftist cabal is doing to the financial, legal and moral fabric of this nation. What is extreme and indefensible is the unwillingness on the part of theoretically adult, responsible American elected officials to stop this fraud. They can see it; they know it is unsustainable and leading to catastrophe; yet almost all do nothing more than make another speech, do another interview, pen another op-ed. That’s not enough. It’s Patrick Henry time in Washington and throughout America; it’s time for our elected representatives to show they are worthy descendants of those who knew what it meant to pledge lives, fortunes and sacred honor to establish, defend and protect the ideal of individual freedom and responsibility under God—i.e., the ideal of America.

Even apart from the principle of stopping everything this fraud is doing, Kagan’s nomination should be defeated. And here we’ll just say what won’t be said anywhere in the PC world—Kagan should be rejected because Americans aren’t comfortable with a homosexual serving on the Supreme Court.

The left-wing media and homosexual activists have foisted on the American people an increasingly militant homosexual agenda for decades now. It’s a direct attack on the moral authority of the Judeo-Christian underpinnings of America, and it has been militant enough and successful enough to send many Christian ministries into retreat or reversal. But these are the unsurprising ebbs and flows of media noise against finger-in-the-wind Christianity. The American people, on the other hand, have shown time after time after time after time after time that they do not buy the homosexual agenda, most especially including same-sex marriage.

Ballot initiatives to preserve marriage as between one man and one woman are universally approved by the people, not out of hate toward anyone living the homosexual lifestyle but out of a core internal guidance system that tells them that traditional marriage and traditional family are the bedrock of civilization. But the people are often scorned or ignored by unelected, elitist, secularist judges, including those in Kagan’s recent home state of Massachusetts, who tell the ignorant masses that human judges know better. The American people are not haters, but they are fed up with judges who do this. It’s hard to imagine Kagan (dean of Harvard Law School, which is leftism on steroids) isn’t precisely this kind of unelected, elitist, secularist (regardless of her apparent Jewish ancestry), and her embrace of the homosexual lifestyle makes the idea of her as a Supreme Court Justice a turnoff to a large majority of the American people.

Yes, we know the PC police at the mainstream media will either decree that none of this shall be discussed, or if it seeps into the public arena and they are forced to discuss it, that any who voice concerns are ignorant, hateful bigots unworthy of speaking, much less being heard. There will even be voices from the so-called right who will offer fastidious, high-minded arguments about the utter irrelevance of sexual activity or proclivity to the profession of judging. But we reject the whole idea that godless intellectualism (another name for political correctness) is entitled to set the premises and terms of all discussions. We don’t hate Ms. Kagan or anyone else living the homosexual lifestyle (we all have friends and in some cases relatives who are involved in the homosexual lifestyle, and we love them, respect them and wish them the best in their private endeavors); we don’t care what she or they do in the privacy of their bedrooms; and we couldn’t care less about the latest state of opinion as it relates to causation and homosexual behavior. We just have that ‘core internal guidance system’ that tells us we don’t want Kagan on the Supreme Court of the United States, making decisions affecting the rest of us for the next several decades.

It’s ironic, but the homosexual activists would be in much better shape if someone other than Obama had appointed Kagan. Because in these ‘let’s roll!” times, it ultimately doesn’t matter who Kagan is or what her qualifications are. She was appointed by a fraud, a man who criminally deceived and misled the American people about who he was and what he really believed. He is not trusted by the American people, and his appointments cannot be trusted. Obama needs to be removed from office; everything he has done must be rescinded; and everything he is proposing to do must be rejected and stopped. It’s that simple.
