Islamophobia
The Pravda media’s uproar about the Koran-burning proposed (and apparently now cancelled) by some tiny, one-off Florida church is tremendously beneficial to America and Americans.
First, it’s yet another vivid illustration of the bias and moral bankruptcy of the Pravda media. They would have us believe that this action is common and endorsed by the 100+ million Christians in 1+ million Christian churches across America. It is neither, but that’s not what the godless Pravda media believes about Christianity. So it is trumped up out of all proportion to its actual significance, which is nearly zero. Don’t think that the American people haven't noticed this orgy of out-of-whack publicity.
Second, it is exposing the naked hypocrisy and double standard of the anti-American left. The godless, Christianity-hating leftists glory in the opportunity the Florida anecdote provides to give lectures on tolerance and the wonders of freedom of religion as set forth in the Constitution, though they are the first to unleash hordes of lawyers to rid the public square of the God of Judeo-Christianity, stop all public utterances of “Merry Christmas” and remove those horrible Ten Commandment statues wherever they may intrude on our sacrosanct secular culture.
Third, and most important, it is continuing to fuel Americans’ interest in the whole question of Islam and its place in America. The ruling class believes, as with all topics, that the ignorant masses are in fact ignorant, and their interest in this very consequential question can be satisfied by blithe generalities about ‘the religion of peace’. Or they believe it can be easily dispensed with by some rally-round-the-flag-of-religious-tolerance-as-the-very-foundation-of-America type speech. And if that doesn’t work, they can just pat Americans on the head and urge them to contain their dim-witted “Islamophobia”.
The American people have always been much smarter than the ruling class believes them to be, and they are always way out in front of the D.C. politicians on the critical issues of the day. And on the question of Islam in America, they are rapidly moving up the learning curve.
We previously highlighted Kyle-Anne Shiver as
one of the new American heroes
emerging in our struggle to restore America. She’s now weighed in with a straightforward,
"Christian common sense' piece
on the entire “Islamophobia” narrative. It deserves to be read in its entirety by all thinking persons. Here’s a couple of excerpts:
Earnest Muslims, who wish to modernize their faith and truly make it a "religion of peace," must virtually erase their Prophet to do so.
Mohamed is the model for Islamic terrorism, both in modern times and for the past fourteen centuries, wherever Islam has escaped the bottle of political restraint. Mohamed was never a prophet of peace; he was a warlord. Nor was he a dedicated monk, priest, or rabbi who eschewed the rewards of political power. Mohamed verily relished his every violent victory and enslaved those whom he defeated. Rape, pillage, and plunder followed in Mohamed's warring wake.
Mohamed was the model for polygamy and child marriage, practicing both himself. Mohamed was the commander of the stoning and the lopping off of hands and feet, the master of the lashings and canings so prominent in every Muslim-dominated country today. It is utterly impossible for modern Muslims to clean up their religion without first erasing the example of their own prophet.
And this:
Perhaps, at the end of the day, someone, somewhere, possessing a few grains of common sense, will ask whether it just might be possible that the Allah, who purportedly spoke to Mohamed, was not at all the God of Abraham, Moses, and Jesus, but some altogether different being with a decidedly anti-Judaic, anti-Christian code of ethics.
Until then, it would take a complete dimwit not to notice that Islam is anything but a "religion of peace." And the sooner we wake up to this reality, the better chance we will have at saving civilization as we have known it.
This is an echo of the call we’ve made for
‘confident theological leadership’;
it points to the
religious awakening
going on throughout the country; it lays down the inescapable spiritual questions
we are being forced to face
in this era.
There aren’t two truths. Truth, by its very nature, is one. The founding fathers grounded the American system of government in the one Truth. Many, many people are afraid to speak or write in such clear and direct terms about America; to do seems presumptuous, arrogant, intolerant; they are afraid of the upheaval they believe may be generated if anyone dare says that one system is better than another, and that the reason it is better has something to do with God and truth. But in reality, we are seeing major upheaval and unrest in America precisely because of decades of drift away from clear and direct communication on these topics. We’re on a positive course correction…and as we approach the ninth anniversary of 9/11, that's all to the good.
