In God We Trust

We’re reaching a crisis level of disconnect between this government and the vast majority of Americans—and it’s all about religion

The Christian soul of the American nation is being put on a cross by Obama and his fellow radical leftists who are running this government. Evil is running amok in this country, and we had better recognize it. We weren’t around in the darkest days of World War II, but whatever level of prayer was happening in the country at that time—it needs to be expanded exponentially right now.

We’ve been cataloging this phenomena since before Obama took office, and updating it ever since. The Ft. Hood massacre, and Obama’s response to it, along with today’s decision to try Khalid Sheikh Mohammed, the confessed mastermind of the 9/11 terror attacks, in Manhattan, provides yet another platform for exposing the evil that is this government.

The extraordinarily difficult fact for virtually all people to come to grips with is that there are two theologies now at war in the world—Judeo-Christianity and Islam—and they are not reconcilable. We can wish it were otherwise; we can argue that since they somehow trace back to the common “God of Abraham”, there must be common virtue underlying their teaching; we can have legislators sit around a room and pass a law to make every difference seem compromisable and accommodatable; and none of it matters. Theology that teaches the subjugation or killing of infidels and the killing of those that leave the faith; theology that teaches the brutal subjugation and oppression of women; theology that teaches a God of hate and revenge and violence and tyranny—these are not the teachings of the Judeo-Christian theology that is the foundation of the United States of America. These two theologies can’t and won’t mix.

The vast majority of the people in the Christian nation of America know this. They desire to be, and struggle mightily with how to be fair and just to individual Muslims, but at the end of the day, they know that Islamic teachings that are leading to terrorism and massacres and beheadings and stonings and the threat of nuclear holocaust (from Iran) are the problem. America and her Judeo-Christian ideals are not. One has a coercive and violent nature that is inconsistent with Truth; and its impulsion to adherents to love death more than life can only lead to the darkest and ugliest of human conditions. The other is a light that lifts all of humanity.

Right and wrong, and good and evil are therefore on vivid display, and the vast majority of Americans know which is which.

The aggressively godless intellectual (which is synonymous with leftist), and even a great number of passive or secularized Jews and Christians do not know which is which, and cannot accept these facts. They can’t even tolerate the possibility that they are facts. To them, the only right worldview is one of moral equivalence—i.e., that all is relative; no teaching is better than anything else; religion in any form is just the opiate of the masses; America is no different than any other country; humanity’s struggle is about human power and policy, about economics and justice; it is not about some silly spiritual quest to find and live by a theology grounded in ultimate truth.

The leftist is wrong on every count, and so his judgment and perspective and opinions spring from moral vacuity, and they are now reaching to moral insanity. Which brings us to this week’s events…

The Ft. Hood massacre was the work of an Islamic jihadist. It was also an act of treason against the United States military. These are the inescapable, inarguable truths that every sentient American knows (which most definitely includes every American soldier). But among the godless intellectuals that comprise the Obama administration and the mainstream media, there is a frenzy to come up with and believe alternative psychobabble explanations and narrow the whole scene down to the crime of murder by a nut. Only they can buy such nonsense or derive any comfort from it. The rest of us just boil.

Add to this the specter of Obama’s decision to try the 9/11 mastermind in a Manhattan court. The man is an Islamic jihadist who has confessed to the murder of 3,000 people; the man has asked to be executed, and this government orders a trial in front of a ‘jury of peers’ for what reason? For one reason and only one—to put the US government on trial for the ways in which it pursued and captured and interrogated this man. The leftist narrative in particular is that ‘torture’, as defined by them, is unworthy of their ideals and is the real evil that must be rooted out. Fighting radical Islam is unjust because the Islamic worldview is just as relevant and valid as Christian America’s; in fact, Christian America is to blame for radical Islam’s actions. So to the leftist Obama administration, the real evil is the American government (under the Christian Bush).

This leftist worldview represents moral insanity, and it will not lead to anything good. It is both a willful and ignorant denial of truth. It is evil made manifest.

America’s faith and trust in God is being tested as never before. Americans know now that Obama pulled off a fraud on the people in 2008, and his administration is a blight on the ‘shining city on an hill’ that is this nation. This government is offensive to the American ideal, and it needs to be removed, properly, and now. With God’s help, it will be.
