The Left's Hatred is Hatred of God

A great many decent Americans may wonder how we came to have a media so determined to push a false narrative—namely, 'conservative-rhetoric-caused-the-attempted-murder-of-a-Democrat-Congresswoman'—in conscious, willful disregard of the truth. They may wonder why the same media could push a completely different narrative—namely, 'we-mustn’t-rush-to-judgment-about-the-motives-of-a-murderer'—when a Muslim shouts “Allahu Akbar!” and guns down 13 people at Ft. Hood.

Americans also wonder why a ‘hating-Bush-is-right-and-normal’ narrative was blatantly pushed by a media then unconcerned about a lack of civility in political discourse, while an ‘Obama-is-wonderful’ narrative is just as blatantly pushed, with anything that stands in its way prima facie evidence of racism, hatred and general incivility.

Probably at the top of the list of sources of Americans’ wonder is the rationale for the media’s relentless attacks on Sarah Palin—which are so over-the-top vicious as to make decent people cringe. The vitriolic anti-Palin narrative is not even remotely close to mere political disagreement; it is a maniacal effort to demonize a person who has done absolutely nothing to warrant it.

We could go on; the list of similar ‘sources of wonder’ is endless. But Americans can save themselves a lot of time and mental energy trying to make sense of liberalism’s attitudes and behavior if they can face this simple but uncomfortable fact: every bit of it emerges from a hatred of God. (To be clear, it is hatred of the God of Judeo-Christianity, not the Allah of Islam. The two conceptions of Deity could not be farther apart).

The American tea parties are all about the love of America and her Judeo-Christian ideals. That’s why they are hated and sabotaged and falsely described by those who hate God. If the tea parties could be tagged with responsibility for the Tucson shooter, perhaps they could be destroyed, and their love of God and America destroyed with it.

And so the godless media’s narrative…the tea parties shot Congresswoman Giffords.

The Ft. Hood murderer was a Muslim acting out his sense of jihad; by definition, he was not standing for or in support of America and her Judeo-Christian heritage—he stood against them. Therefore he stood aligned with those who hate God, and was to be treated honorably and with kid gloves.

And so the godless media’s narrative…no inquiry as to his religion or his motive was to be allowed.

George W. Bush became public enemy No. 1 of the mindset that hates God the very moment early in his first presidential campaign when he cited “Christ” as the ‘philosopher’ who had the most influence on him, because Christ changed his life. Bush’s Christianity was central to his worldview and thinking; during his Presidency, he constantly invoked references to the Almighty and to the universal human yearning for freedom; he did not hesitate to say that “God is not neutral” in the battle between good and evil. For the mindset that hates God, Bush was like an hysteria-inducing drug.

Obama, on the other hand, rose to the Presidency on the hate-Bush tide. Obama’s profession of Christian faith is transparently false—no one who equates Jeremiah Wright’s rantings with the teachings of Christianity knows even the slightest bit about Christian faith and teaching. Obama’s Muslim sympathies are also obvious to anyone.

And so the godless media’s narrative…hate Bush because he loves God; love Obama because he stands opposed to the God of Judeo-Christianity.

Which brings us to Sarah Palin. Her openness about her practical, living Christian faith is several notches above that of George W. Bush. Her appreciation of marriage, family and motherhood, her work ethic, her heartfelt patriotism and pride in America and in having a son who has served in the American military—all of these emerge from her Christian faith. She proclaims it from the rooftops, and because it is so obvious and prominent in her persona, the mindset that hates God is enraged at levels few Americans have ever witnessed, and is almost literally hell-bent to silence her and destroy her.

And so the godless media’s narrative…hate Sarah Palin; banish the thought that she could ever be considered a Presidential candidate; get her faith and her spirituality off the stage of humanity’s thought asap.

____________

Christians recognize this hatred particularly in the life of Jesus, who said he came to bear witness to the truth—the truth that would make men free—and was met with the same combination of incredulity, scorn and flippancy of those in authority. Pontius Pilate seemed to wave off as irrelevant or impertinent the question, ‘what is truth?’, as if to say, ‘what a stupid idea for you, Jesus, to suggest that there is such a thing as divine truth—there is only the truth of my power over you; truth is whatever I and others in power say it is.’

But of course, Pilate and the rest of the ‘authorities’ who ordered Jesus’ crucifixion had no idea who or what they were dealing with. Their attempts to destroy Jesus and his message and his mission to bear witness to the truth failed completely. They found out that truth can’t be killed or destroyed; that in fact it always prevails.

Today’s attempts of godless intellectualism and liberalism. to destroy America and her founding ideals of individual freedom and responsibility under God will also fail completely. Ideals grounded in truth cannot be destroyed. The narratives of the godless media have never been more thoroughly exposed as false, and the simple explanation for them--hatred of God—is coming to be more widely recognized and understood.

Once liberalism’s hatred of God is understood, many positive developments follow. The media’s agenda is known and its positions on any issues of the day can be anticipated. The attacks and the narratives opposing everything having to do with the love of God cease to amaze or impress, and they cease to be believed. Also, the urging to compromise or find middle ground between those who love God and those who hate God can be seen as disingenuous and springing from a phony premise. There is no common ground or middle ground between these two worldviews. One must prevail; one must be destroyed and removed.

So don’t be fooled, and never forget: the left’s hatred is hatred of God. America and all of humanity does not want or embrace this hatred; it rejects it. It is even now in the process of being ejected from the American government.

May nothing slow it down.
