Pravda Alert: GDP Spin

If this government reports anything other than a declining economy in the 2nd quarter, you are being lied to…

We don’t know when official government estimates of the economy’s second quarter performance will become public. We only know to issue an alert NOW to anyone with a pulse: there will be overwhelming pressure coming from the White House to rig the numbers—and yes, ‘rig’ in this context means to falsify. If that pressure is resisted, there will be an all-out effort to find an anecdote of positive news to spin wildly out of proportion to its real significance—i.e., windmill factories added a few jobs. And if that anecdote can’t be found, there will be an all-out effort to spin negative results into good news (“the decline was not as bad as expected”). Be wary of all three scenarios.

The future of the Obama Presidency and perhaps even the Democrat Party and its Pravda affiliates may all be tied to this second quarter report. The stakes are truly this high. The radical left agenda is on life support; the people are sensing a fraudulent, renegade, defiant government, while they are experiencing an economy that they know from their own eyes and ears is declining, no matter what any statistics can be distorted to say.

In the world of sports, there is a moment when a promising team is experiencing a tough start to the season that the head coach has to step forward and convince everyone that he knows what he’s doing, he’s got a plan, and with a determination to stick with the plan, success will come. But when that head coach can’t or doesn’t step forward, or isn’t convincing, the phrase is “the coach lost the team”. Then the season is already over; the players won’t play for him anymore, and any hope of salvaging the season is finished.

If an honest second quarter report comes out—which will show just how badly all parts of the country are faring, despite the urgent, all-wise, hallowed, phony stimulus—and this is added to the people’s rising awareness of just how brazen and dishonest the Obama administration has been in designing and describing its nationalized healthcare plan, and its cap and trade plan, Obama will have fully and finally ‘lost the team’. The American people will be through with him; they will not respond to his leadership; they will not buy the idea that his radical left agenda constitutes a plan for anything other than an egregious grab for government power at the expense of individual freedom; and his coaching career—meaning his Presidency—will be over.

Axelrod knows this; Emanuell knows this; even Biden probably knows this. Obama may or may not believe it, but he’s a managed puppet anyway. And so it will be extremely important to examine exactly what is reported. Be suspicious of any numbers that indicate an economic recovery. As Joe Biden has said, “look around you!” Just look and what you know and what you feel about the condition of the economy and the condition of the nation. Any report telling you that the nation is recovering is just flat wrong, and you know it.

Then watch how the federal government and the Pravda media go about telling you that everything is coming up roses, the tide has been turned, the bud is ready to bloom, people’s spirits are picking up, etc., etc. That’s the point you need to decide that you have had enough. You need to start channeling the anger you are feeling. These lies and liars have to be stopped and they can be stopped if the people will it to be so. Stop your subscription to any part of the Pravda media; stop watching Pravda TV; get on the phone to your elected representatives in the Senate and Congress, and tell them you want this farce stopped NOW; participate in sit-ins or other demonstrations that you will increasingly hear about on the web and through talk radio. Don’t stop until you are convinced that the message has been received and will be obeyed. Take back this nation, NOW!
