The Fall of 2009
The entire radical left government is going down
Good is happening all over America. Humanity’s God-given heritage of freedom—so evident in the founding of America, and so beautifully captured in the Declaration of Independence—has been given a new birth. Truth itself is propelling it, and the result is going to be a blessing for the nation and the world.
The election of Barack Obama in 2008 has swept away the veil of deceit and manipulation and corruption and godlessness that is and has always been the province of the radical left. Past elections that have taken place ‘between the 40 yard-lines have kept the people lulled to sleep; but the scope and detail and personnel involved in the radical left agenda of Obama have awakened the people just as surely and as definitively as the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor awakened the heart and soul of America in 1941.
More than a few pundits can’t believe their eyes and ears; virtually no experts saw a way that this insidious attack on America from within could ever be defeated. Power was believed to be a matter of counting Party affiliations in Congress, and by those counts everything good about America had become a lost cause. But the great thing about the turnaround and reversal we are witnessing is that it may awaken many of our best conservative thinkers—including Rush Limbaugh, Seah Hannity and Mark Levin—to the fact that the roots of their conservative beliefs—a faith and belief in God—are not only justified by history but by actual events today that demonstrate that “God is a very present help in trouble.”
Too much of Christian faith can reach its breaking point and decide to accept defeat on the grounds that we’re human after all; all we can do is our best; but if the wrong side wins, we’ll just expect accounts to be adjusted in an afterlife. Even this level of faith has achieved great things for humanity, but the next level can involve a stronger affirmation that this same God is a present help in this world.
There really is no other way to explain the grassroots take-back of America that is sweeping the country and sucking every politician into its wake. Sure, real people are doing real things, but there isn’t one human political leader to point to as the organizer and driver of it. It’s a universal, near-spontaneous stirring of the human heart to reject the lies that would say we are nothing more than amoral, slightly-better-than-animals, random collections of DNA, all proceeding out of a big bang of mindless matter—with no purpose or reason for being beyond what some elitist allows us to be. We love freedom; we grow in our love for our fellow man when we live our God-given freedom; we love that which inspires us to be and do better—which might be considered an early, groping definition of God.
We are witnessing a sweeping removal of a radical leftist government that humanity does not want. This removal may be achieved through isolated special elections; it may be achieved through massive course-changing elections in 2010; it may happen with new and powerful voices emerging from the American people; it may come from politicians changing their thinking; it may happen through impeachment and removal of a President. It may involve all of these things. But it will happen; it is happening.
Isn’t it sort of Pollyanna to think this can happen—and especially Pollyanna and even dangerous to think it can happen without violence and massive social upheaval? No.
The reason is that the removal of this false government is a blessing to all. The radical leftists will be able to learn that their long-held belief in the absence of truth is wrong and has led them into a perspective of bitterness and hate that they will be glad to leave behind. “People of color’ and ‘white people’ will be able to see once and for all that skin color really is irrelevant to what is right and true. It's ideas that matter. And people with a half-hearted faith in God will have a chance to double it.
Just being ‘able to learn’ or ‘able to see’ does not, of course, guarantee that everyone will learn and will see. A few will be wilfully blind, and resolve to go down swinging in support of what they have been mesmerized into believing is some sort of messianic movement. They may cause some unrest. But we doubt they will have much influence. The vast majority of the American people are no longer mesmerized, and the rest will gradually lose their disillusionment as they see and feel the country's spirit reviving and rallying and moving forward in direct corrolation with the removal of leftism from the government.
The sophisticates among us would read these words and smirk at the hopeless naivete and ignorance about ‘the ways of the world’ and about what is or isn’t possible in such a world. They will search deep in their bags of political theory and singular events and accounts of history to try to make sense of it all. Others will marvel at ‘what God hath wrought” in the fall of 2009. Count us in the latter group.
