Freedom, Eternal Vigilance and Faith
The American people have lost all trust in Obama. This is a horrible situation for America and the world, and it needs to be resolved before 2012. Today’s multi-plane terrorist ‘episode’ is the latest example of the price Americans are paying as this fraudulent Presidency is allowed to continue.
There is now so much distrust of Obama’s genuine love for America; so much suspicion of his Muslim sympathies; so much cynicism as to his motives and actions on the eve of a massive nationwide election rebuke—that the news and commentary cycles are dominated by the assumption that the timing is too coincidental. Which means conspiracy theories of one kind or another are proliferating. Such as:
• The whole multi-plane plot is a fake, designed to create the impression of Obama administration competence in the face of terrorist threats.
• The whole thing is real, and was a foiled attempt to create a “Madrid bombing” style atmosphere whereby a multi-city terrorist attack would frighten Americans into rallying around the Commander-in-Chief and voting Democrat (evidence of a truly stupid terrorist’ read of the American character and of a mid-term election when the Commander-in-Chief is not on the ballot).
• The whole thing is real, and was a dry run for a planned multi-city attack to occur while Obama is in India. The 40 aircraft, 800+ person Presidential entourage to India is thus explained as part of an orchestrated plan to be safely out of the country when the attacks occur; call the shots from half-way around the world; and then return to a chaotic mess in which the new Congress is swept to irrelevance in the face of an imposition of martial law.
Sad to say that 25 years ago the American people, or at least most of them, wouldn’t spend much time entertaining these kinds of theories. They would just be grateful no bombs went off, salute UPS for its security practices, resolve to beef up security and go after the bastards who are behind this. But in Obama’s America of 2010, even sane places like Brushfires of Freedom don’t know what to think.
We’ll only say what we’ve said in the past. We are in a war for America’s survival, no more or less than we were in World War II. There is no question that
George Soros
—the money man behind everything the radical left does—seeks the destruction of the American Constitutional republic by any means he can buy. And there is no informed, objective person, in the privacy of his or her own thoughts, who can say from listening to and watching Obama that it is truly clear where his loyalty lies.
For many Americans, this war can seem almost debilitating. The enemy is in plain sight, but the enemy is within. What can be done?
First and foremost,
pray for this country.
Prayer begets vigilance. Thomas Jefferson may or may not have said these words, but their message is right: “the price of freedom is eternal vigilance”. Americans were lulled to sleep over many decades, and were fully in a trance in the run up to the election of 2008. They are awake now.
Second, follow the founders’ lead:
have faith in divine Providence.
We have been in wars before. The outcome of each war was never certain when it began or sometimes even years into it. But as Ronald Reagan knew—
‘what is right will always eventually triumph'.
Third, vote on November 2nd—and do so in a way that best assures the removal of
every Democrat
from elective office. Yes, that’s right—at this stage in American history, until genuine love for America and adulthood returns to the leadership of the Democrat Party, not one person who aligns himself or herself with what the Obama/Reid/Pelosi/Democrat Party government is doing can be trusted with elective office.
And fourth, go back to first. Keep praying. The price of freedom is eternal vigilance.
