If O Doubles Down, Impeachment will Follow

We wrote the original essay about two and a half months ago, just after Virginia and New Jersey voters sent their message rejecting the out-of-control left-wing agenda of Obama. We’ll ‘re-up’ it now, as Massachusetts voters have done the same thing in electing conservative Scott Brown as the replacement for leftist Ted Kennedy.

The early indications are that Obama and his radical left-wing coterie will NOT back down from their agenda; that the once-in-a-lifetime dreams of George Soros to destroy the America of the founding are still directing the White House; that Obama himself is so completely out-of-touch with America that he doesn’t even know how to move toward the center. He knows only the Chicago way, the Saul Alinsky way—and the result will be a doubling down in pursuit of his agenda.

It’s all going to lead to his removal as President, perhaps before the end of this year. We’d guess it will come by resignation rather than impeachment, because the outrage that is sure to follow any doubling down is going to be an overwhelming moral force that he simply can’t stand up to. Virginia Senator Jim Webb issued a statement coincident with Scott Brown’s victory that captures what an honest Democrat feels and knows, and signals why the pressure for resignation will be insurmountable if Obama decides to march ahead with his agenda. Webb said:

"In many ways the campaign in Massachusetts became a referendum not only on health care reform but also on the openness and integrity of our government process. It is vital that we restore the respect of the American people in our system of government and in our leaders. To that end, I believe it would only be fair and prudent that we suspend further votes on health care legislation until Senator-elect Brown is seated."

Webb knows what the Obama spinners won’t acknowledge: Brown’s election was a point blank referendum on healthcare, and even more important, on ‘the openness and integrity” of the entire Washington Democrat government. Webb knows Obama/Reid/Pelosi have lost the respect of the American people.

These are foundational issues; they go to the core of American democracy. They are reverberating around this country with unprecedented volume. If Obama/Reid/Pelosi dare to continue to defy the American people in these circumstances, the American people will demand a reckoning that will be stunning in its ferocity and immediacy. Obama will be out as President soon thereafter.

The November 3 election results were a massive and unmistakable repudiation of the radical left agenda being pursued by the Obama/Reid/Pelosi government. Forget anything Axelrod or Gibbs or any of the Pravda media say in public to try to spin these results into insignificance. Behind closed doors, they know exactly how bad this was for their agenda.

In situations like this in the past, old school Democrats like Joe Biden would quickly go into survival mode, and move away from the radical left agenda toward the center. They might succeed, at least in terms of avoiding a landslide defeat in the next election cycle. But Barack Obama reports to George Soros. Soros bought and paid for the right to pursue this agenda, and he has freely said, in effect, that the mission of his life is to destroy America—at least in terms of destroying its Judeo-Christian foundation and heritage. And here’s where Obama is headed for deep trouble, and probably doesn’t even know it—or at least doesn’t know how deep the trouble potentially is.

Soros is a high stakes investor/gambler, not a career politician. His decision is going to be to double down on the radical left agenda—for the simple reason that he now sees that the chance to see America destroyed in his lifetime is going to come and go within the next three years. So he’s going to pour more money into his effort, create more pressure and threats toward Democrat officeholders (in any form he can think of) to toe the line in support of the radical left agenda, and he’s going to tell Obama to use every imaginable executive authority to implement this agenda in ways that will do the most harm to the America he wants to see destroyed. He's on a mission--to such a degree that we wouldn’t be surprised to discover Soros working to facilitate a terrorist attack on this country near the time of the 2010 elections or the 2012 elections in order to draw on Americans’ tendency to rally around their President in times of crisis, and thereby preserve Obama’s presidency.

None of Soros’ plans are going to work, because he’s fighting against something that can’t be beaten: Truth. (See our earlier essay, here). An American population awakened to truth will not be intimidated, denied or deceived. But Soros doesn’t believe there is such a thing as Truth, and neither does Obama. And so the stage is set for a rocky year ahead—which may very well end in Obama’s impeachment and removal from office.

The simple fact is that a solid majority of Americans have figured out this agenda and the degree to which they and their fellow Americans were fooled by Obama. They are extremely unhappy; more accurately, they are angry. If Obama, carrying out Soros’ mission, persists in efforts to shove this leftist agenda down the throats of Americans who plainly are yelling “NO!” from the rooftops—the anger is going to spread like wildfire. A majority of the elected Representatives of this country are going to turn on Obama and on Soros, and the stage will be set for a constitutional showdown.

We think impeachment and removal will follow. Once a lie and the iiars have been identified by the American people, they are not afraid of them anymore. Obama/Reid/Pelosi are going to be seen as phonies, as weak leaders who never had the pulse of the people but who marched to the drum of big money contributors and cow-towed to the screaming left out of sheer cowardice. Their arrogance and defiance of the American people will be their undoing. And the sane and decent elements of both political parties will step in and stop this farce once and for all.

No one likes to speak in these terms, but Obama/Reid/Pelosi have been behaving no less criminally than Bernie Madoff. They are taking money from the people (and future generations) by promising to deliver services at prices and with benefits that they cannot deliver—and they know they cannot deliver them. This is conscious deceit; it is fraud, pure and simple.

With the November 3 election results putting them squarely on notice that the American people do not like what is going on and want it stopped—the Obama/Reid/Pelosi government faces a stark choice. Scrap the agenda, or double-down. Our guess is that Soros is calling the shots, and he’ll want to double-down. And that will be the beginning of the end for Obama. Impeachment and removal will not be far behind.
