The People will Defy this Government

Civil disobedience has a rich history in this country; civil disobedience founded this country

The majority of Americans are wide awake now to the fraud that is the Obama administration. Even Pravda media polls are unable to keep the fiction of job approval alive, and Gallup recently found more than 70% of Americans are angry with this government’s behavior.

It’s also pretty clear that the radical leftists that are in control of this government have no intention of slowing down; that they are going to ram through their agenda regardless of public opposition. They are elitist—they know better than the rest of us what must be done, and they are defiant of the will of the people. These same attitudes that gave birth to the American nation in the 1700’s (read the full Declaration of Independence if you want a reminder of how history repeats itself) are giving a re-birth or new birth to it in 2009.

The radical left believes there are enough government stimulus handouts and ACORN-assisted voter fraud programs to hold on to control in the 2010 elections, and believe they can drive the country into such chaos and despair by 2012 that a majority will vote for their all-powerful Obama government to save us all. They are counting on the Tea Partiers’ spirit of rebellion to dissipate and flounder as elitist Republicans deny the breadth and strength of the conservative movement.

This is the unbelievable arrogant fantasy of the radical left—they believe the government can make the people bow to its will. They’ve seen it happen with totalitarian regimes throughout history, and believe they’ve got the government authority—legitimized in their minds by the 2008 election—and the Pravda media to make it happen in America. They believe they can steamroll the Constitution. They believe all of this because they believe the human condition is all about human power without regard to transcendent values and standards of truth. They believe America is a nation defined by borders and government authority rather than ideals defined by God and a people defined by their faith in God.

The radical left is wrong on every level. And most debilitating to them is that they still believe the sycophantic mainstream media is capable of reflecting and shaping American opinion. The mainstream media is now an utterly discredited joke and virtually all sentient Americans know it, with the only exceptions being those who work in the mainstream media.

The upcoming Obama trip to Copenhagen to deliver a speech on climate change is a stunning example of just how wrong and wildly out of touch Obama and his leftist colleagues really are. The Climategate scandal is known and understood by everyone with an internet connection, yet denied or ignored or downplayed by the mainstream media. There is rapidly spreading awareness of just how bogus and fraudulent and manipulative the global warming alarmists have been; there is a growing collective gut level recognition that the whole global warming thing is and has been a hoax. Yet Obama will as of this writing still make the trip, and still publicly affirm the ‘science’ as conclusive enough to justify trying to drive legislation and international agreements to gut the free market economy engine of the free world.

The American people are going to be livid watching this spectacle, but Obama and his people will remain in denial because the mainstream media just don’t get the power of the internet, no matter how many times it has already been illustrated (ever hear of Dan Rather?).

And while the Copenhagen fiasco unfolds, Harry Reid will continue to try and ram a nationalization of healthcare down the throats of the American people.

These are among the reasons why we don’t think there is any chance whatsoever that the conservative movement will lose steam—on the contrary, it grows every day and is now beyond steam and approaching full ignition. We don’t think ACORN and all the money in the world can stop the voter backlash that is headed for the polls in every available election until this government is fully removed. But we also think the American people aren’t going to sit for another 11 months as this government continues its insane pursuit of an agenda that was never disclosed, never debated and never approved by the American people. We think more and more groups of larger and larger numbers of Americans are going to start taking stands of open defiance of this government.

We can’t predict all the forms this defiance will take. Americans are incredibly creative and purposeful when they are fully engaged and motivated to save their country and its freedoms. Tea parties, marches and demonstrations were just the start; we would not be surprised if somewhere along the way there will be ‘strikes’ by the people, which might begin by a nationwide refusal to work on a particular day and eventually culminate in a nationwide refusal to pay taxes of one kind or another.

Perhaps this is the goal of Soros and the leftists—to provoke the good and decent people of this country into something the leftists can call ‘law-breaking’, whereupon they can swoop in and jail their opposition. But they are going to find out they can’t jail everyone. And the police officers and prison officers and court officials and soldiers and sailors are going to be among those defying this government.

The Obama government is offensive to America and must be removed. Were they willing to drop healthcare and back off climate alarmism in moderate responsiveness to the will of the people and the truth, they might be able to continue in power until orderly elections remove them. But by continuing on the path they are on, we think they are hastening the American people’s determination to stop this fraud, and stop it now.

Truth is not chaotic, and those Americans demanding that this government respect the truth are not fearful animals ready to mutate into anarchists. They are the spiritual brethren of the Founding Fathers; the people who trust in God as the source of their inalienable rights; and trust in their fellow Americans’ exercise of their freedom and responsibility under God. As their values re-ascend into pre-eminence in America, the result isn’t going to be panic and collapse but restoration, renewal, stability and progress. A whole lot of crises—healthcare, climate, energy—are going to be found as not crises at all. They will be found to have been false fears ginned up by the godless radical left that thought they could parlay fear into the people’s dismissal of God from their country and their lives.

Can’t be done. Won’t be done. Americans are going to defy this fraudulent government, and it is going to collapse or be removed.
