Delaware, Connecticut and Washington
If polls are to be believed, the good people of Delaware, Connecticut and Washington will elect, or in Washington’s case, re-elect liberal Democrats to the US Senate. We frankly don’t believe the polls. But let’s assume they are right. There is still time for a full wake up in all three states. The inspirational force that propels the tea parties is universal, and it is gaining steam, not losing it.
The noise of the media wants to make it embarrassing to vote for Christine O’Donnell in Delaware—she said and did strange things when she was in high school!—and to vote for Linda McMahon in Connecticut—she is associated with icky pro wrestling! The elitists will frown on you if you are so crass as to vote for these unacceptable people! Surely you are refined enough to know that these people simply can’t be allowed in the hallowed halls of our esteemed government. And incumbent Democrat Patty Murray in Washington—you simply mustn’t allow the sophisticated Northwest to be associated with anything close to a Republican like Dino Rossi!
But this election is not about personalities, and it is not about traditional political parties. It is most assuredly not about conforming to political correctness in any form. It is about individual freedom and responsibility; it is about knowing the truth of what has happened to America in the last 20+ months; it is about the America of the founding; it is about responding to what we know in our hearts is true: the America of the founding has blessed us in unimaginable ways—none of which of anything remotely to do with a radical leftist agenda demanding that Americans turn their future over to an almighty government.
Every person is capable of waking up to these facts. Every person is capable of ignoring the pressure to conform to a view of themselves as helpless and victimized by ‘others’ who must be punished or controlled by government. Every person is capable of recognizing which ideas are directionally right and which are wrong. And every person is capable of entering the voting booth and doing the right thing with the attitude of ‘to hell with what the ruling class thinks’.
In the simplest terms, every person is capable of being exactly who the founders of America envisioned them to be: created equal under God, with dignity and rights conferred by God, including the right to exercise their abilities and their freedom to pursue their dreams of happiness.
We think these people reside in Delaware, Connecticut, and Washington and every other state in this nation. We think they are a majority in each of these states. We think they will overwhelm the polls on November 2nd.
