Congressional Criminality

What is crime anyway? And organized crime? Crime is behavior by an individual that crosses a line defined by society as ‘law’; organized crime is behavior by more than one individual that crosses such a line. The 111th Congress is on the way to behaving as a group to cross an unmistakable line set by the elections of November 2nd, 2010, when the American people resoundingly, unequivocally, forcefully said STOP to the profligate spending and earmarks and passing of bills that hadn’t been read.

The members of the 111th Congress, in lame-duck session, are going forward to cross that line by passing a budget that involves doing everything society has told them to stop doing. The members of the 111th Congress have become an organized crime syndicate acting against the American people. Every single member who votes for this abomination of a budget, including Republicans, should be arrested and jailed.

For the fainthearted and the terminally cynical, the preceding paragraph is extreme or silly; for heartland Americans, it’s spot on to how they feel and what they would like to see done.

The cable TV punditry has no idea of the level of anger brewing in this nation. They will comment on the Democrats failure to learn lessons; no doubt someone will weigh in on how ‘politics ain’t beanbag’; and then they will want to move on to their favorite politics-as-sport topic—which is to speculate on how all of this may impact Obama’s next approval poll.

This is so much more serious than the talking heads grasp. This is a Congress that knows it has a 13% public approval rating, and still goes forward with the exact behavior that caused it! Living Americans have never seen such brazenness, corruption, defiance and disdain coming from an election-rebuked Congress. They saw the same behavior as part of the passage of Obamacare, but they had nothing they could do about it other than what they tried to do, which was flood their Congressmen and women with complaints and demands to stop it. And until November 2nd, the Congress could hide behind some stretched and distorted concept of implementing the President’s ‘elected’ agenda. This was all a fraud—as we’ve noted many times, Obama’s agenda was never elected or chosen by the American people; it was hid from the American people—but after November 2nd, there was and is no justification or cover for this behavior at all. It is deeply offensive; it is criminal.

The American people have been a model of restraint up to this point, but we wonder if the breaking point has been reached. King George inspired a bloody revolution by his antics, but he was a modestly out-of-touch ruler compared to three-headed tyranny of Obama/Reid/Pelosi.

This is America’s real crisis—how to expunge this unconscionable thinking and behavior from government at all levels, and quickly. The financial problems, economic problems, national security problems, energy problems, etc., etc., are really just symptoms or effects, not causes, and they can be set right once the real cause is dealt with.

So what is to be done? We’ve written of faith and prayer and the need for God, faith and prayer and the need for God, but if you’d like to get more practical, then the answer is: make the tea parties grow and grow and grow, until they are the dominant, majority force in American politics in every state in the Union. Join, get involved, call on your friends who have never been involved to get involved, and get involved as if your life depended on it, because it may.

The new Congress in January must be held accountable by you and the tea parties to mark a sharp and pronounced break from every Congress of the past. They must be made more afraid of the people than they are of a negative editorial in the New York Times or Washington Post. They must be made to toss aside all forms of political correctness; they must unflinchingly dismiss Obama as a fraud and incompetent who cannot be trusted and must be ignored until he is removed from office.

Obama and the Congress hold elected offices; Obama is not a sovereign, and Congress is not allowed to be the mafia. The American people are sovereign. King George eventually learned this; so will the members of this criminal Congress.
