Nothing Covered that Shall Not be Revealed
Seems like every generation needs to relearn the relevance and timeless truth of the Bible. Maybe a whole generation of Americans and others around the world are about to experience this relearning. For reasons not yet clear, new Hawaii Governor Neil Abercrombie has made the subject of Obama's official birth certificate a renewed topic of discussion. He claims,
provably falsely,
by the way--that he knew and and spent time with the young newlyweds and their newborn Barack, and so he has been eager upon taking the Governor's office to put the birth certificate issue to rest. Only problem--after taking office, he hasn't produced it. But he has successfully
reintroduced the subject,
and he's going to look increasingly lame if he won't produce the long form original birth certificate. What's he going to say? The Governor of Hawaii doesn't have the power to release the document? The Governor does have the power but Obama won't let him release it? The document doesn't exist? The birth certificate controversy has always smelled to anyone with an ounce of common sense. The issue addressed by the birth certificate may or may not be the narrow question of location of birth; it may be the identify of the real father (or even mother); it may be an identification of Muslim faith--nobody knows. But everybody knows: no one spends millions of dollars in legal fees trying to block disclosure of a document whose contents present nothing to fear. It's that simple. The Democrat/liberal/media estabishment has tried all kinds of coordinated 'tin-foil-hat' characterization and disparagement of any and all who voice common sense, but truth is kind of like the big boulder in the road. You can't forever rely on intellectual gymnastics to ignore it or forever go around it. It has to be dealt with. And the timeless wisdom and power of the Bible's promise are about to be proven again--they will propel this whole question to the forefront of public awareness. We
expected this
when the November elections went so badly for Obama, and he followed that up by offending his leftist base in renewing the Bush tax rates. A card-carrying leftist like Abercrombie seems an unlikely tool, but another of the Bible's warnings is that truth is no respecter of persons. Truth has its own way of coming to the surface, and no one can stop it. Repealing Obamacare is child's play compared to what may be coming down the pike. Paul Gable January 21, 2011
