The Missing Democrat Budget

The fact that the Pelosi/Democrat-led Congress has refused to introduce to the public a government budget for the current fiscal year ought to be the beginning and the end of all questions as to the fitness of any incumbent Democrat to continue in office.

Forget rationalizations or irrelevant comparisons to some other year in some other circumstances. The refusal to introduce a budget this year under these circumstances is an act of deliberate fraud on the American people. The Democrats have one and only one purpose: they simply do not want attention focused on the scale of reckless spending that has been applied to the nation’s financial condition.

It is vital to understand a simple fact of life in the real world (as opposed to the fantasy world being propped up by the Pravda media in support of this outrageous U.S. government): If the leadership of any public company in America announced that they would not publish financial statements for the current year, the investors would desert them, the stock price would crater, and criminal fraud charges would be brought against management. Convictions and jail time would follow.

Please take a moment to let that sink in. What the elected Democrat leaders in Congress are doing in refusing to disclose a US government budget for this fiscal year would land them in jail for criminal fraud were they to do the very same thing as leaders of a public enterprise. There is absolutely no excuse for what they are doing; it is unconscionable, arrogant, dishonest—a classic demonstration of the ruling class’ ethos: “we did it because we can”.

The sad fact is that even Fox News is hampered by the traditional thinking of a media outlet, which is that yesterday’s news is yesterday’s news, and the consuming public wants to hear something new. In other words, there just isn’t a platform by which to hammer, day in and day out on just this one story, which by itself is more than sufficient justification to throw out every sitting Democrat. We hope the online media will take up the cause, and we’re happy to play a small part.

To repeat: we are witnessing criminal behavior on the part of the Democrat-led Congress. Not a defensible, close-call, shrewd political judgment, but out and out criminality, ratified and endorsed by every Democrat in office today. These people are Bernie Madoff writ large, but hide behind the belief that accountability can be avoided under the explanation of ‘it’s just politics’.

It’s not just politics. It is offensive to the American system of government. It is offensive to good and decent Americans of every political philosophy. It is yet another reason for the tea party movement; it is another reason the tea water is boiling.

Tell your friends and neighbors: every Democrat office holder should be thrown out of office for this offense alone. And if Republican office holders don’t get the message, they should be next.
