The Beginning of the End: Keep the Faith

The healthcare vote of March 21, 2010 is the official, mark-the-calendar, beginning of the end of the Obama administration.

Don’t buy for a minute the Pravda spin that will glorify the all-powerful Obama and the ‘masterful’ Pelosi. Don’t get sucked in by the narrative that the American people will now move on to the next issue, and forget everything that has made them spitting angry over the behavior of this government. Don’t be distracted by some blip in some slanted opinion poll that says Obama is now more popular. Don’t entertain the utterly baseless appeal to ‘give nationalized healthcare a chance’. Don’t buy the ‘masters of the universe’ pitch that claims the leftists have perfectly orchestrated the sequencing of the taxes and burdens of the healthcare legislation so as to control the next cycle of elections.

Lies are lies; if we refuse to believe them, their seeming power disappears. Truth remains, unchanged.

Here’s the truth: a fraudulently elected government lied about or tried to hide its purposes and intentions; engaged in manifestly corrupt methods to ‘pass’ ‘legislation’; and is lying to this day about the content and impact of what they have done. They know it, and you know it. The American people understood what this was all about before March 21 and they did not want it; they understand even more what it is all about after March 21 and they want it even less.

Our pathetically ignorant—and in some cases, willfully deceitful—media is trying the patience of the American people with all the spins, narratives, polls, appeals and pitches we’ve described, but none of it changes the truth, and none of it will be successful in diluting the American people’s resolve to remove this government. The resolve will only increase.

We’re entering a difficult next phase where the leftists and their media cohorts will pull out all the stops to demonize and provoke protesting Americans in order to suppress them. They will try to infiltrate tea party protests and stage incidents in order to create a platform for denouncing the protesters without addressing the substance of their protest. They will spout and spew and rail against the ‘extremist’ rhetoric of the right. But it’s all a lie.

The stirring in America is the stirring of truth; it is a collective reawakening to the God-given heritage of America, the God-given nature of her ideals, and the highest and best sense of God-given liberty, which we at Brushfires have long framed as the idea of individual freedom and responsibility under God. This stirring is not a movement of hate or violence; it is the restoration of love for what is right. This is why it cannot be stopped or contained, and eventually will wake up even those in the media who still have hearts and souls—which, believe it or not, is every one of them. This is also why all the anxious hand-wringing over the ‘impossibility’ of repealing Obamacare, and all the talk of inevitable financial and societal collapse are false.

Obamacare can be repealed. Completely. Our financial house can be put back in order. Without collapse. We can find, tap and safely utilize all the energy resources we need for a growing economy that will lift everyone. Our culture can be renovated and renewed with timeless Judeo-Christian moral principles. We can see America restored to its role as the shining city on a hill—because America, the idea, has never fallen from that role. It is only our awareness and defense of, and appreciation for that idea that has fallen, but all are now roaring back.

We know there appears to be a long way to go before this vision will become the reality. We know the opposition to this vision appears to be formidable. We cringe at the pictures of potential violence that are being drawn by the faithless and fearful, as well as the tyrants. But even these appearances are lies, and the pictures are not prophecies. The radical leftist agenda of Obama/Reid/Pelosi has not a shred of truth to support it, and therefore not a trace of real power to enforce it. They’ve passed their Wizard of Oz moment—the curtain has been pulled back. They are not be feared. They are to be removed.

March 21, 2010 marked the official start of the removal process. Now, it’s full speed ahead.
