The "Arizona Battle" of the Second Civil War

We wrote in March that the Congressional vote to pass Obamacare against the overwhelming majority of Americans’ desires was akin to the attack on Fort Sumter that marked the beginning of America’s first Civil War. We stand by that comparison, and America’s second Civil War is clearly underway. Every American hopes it will remain ‘civil’ and be resolved decisively through the democratic process.

But there is increasing evidence that the Soros/Obama/Reid/Pelosi cabal wants the war to turn violent—how else can anyone explain the unrelenting execution of a strategy to fan flames of racial animosity by consciously, deliberately, and repeatedly stating out-and-out lies about the Arizona immigration law and the circumstances that gave rise to it? The administration even co-opted the President of Mexico to lecture Congress about the evil of ‘racial profiling’—an evil that simply doesn’t exist in the Arizona law. The White House knows these are lies, the President of Mexico knows he is complicit in voicing lies; the Democrats in Congress give the President of Mexico standing ovations in support of his lies; and the Pravda media denies the existence of truth or lies and just parrots the talking points of the political left to which it subscribes—and all of them think this is a strategy for persuading the American people?

We live in an era when anyone who cares to know what the Arizona immigration law actually says can do so. Like right here. So if you’re David Axlerod and you know the American people can find out the truth about the Arizona law, yet you coordinate and orchestrate an all-out campaign to lie about it for the purpose of stirring up controversy and racial tension, you can only be thinking one of two things: (1) most of the American people are too stupid or too disengaged to figure out what you are doing, and so you’ll get away with turning majority opinion your way, or (2) you know you can’t turn majority opinion your way, and so your real purpose is to get right in the face of mainstream American opinion and see if you can provoke a violent reaction that you can then use for other political and power-grabbing purposes.

The answer is #2.

Make no mistake; we are in a war in this nation. The people who occupy the White House and Democrat leadership positions in Congress also know we are in a war. They are determined in this war to destroy the America of the founding—to eviscerate once and for all the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution. They are godless; their purpose is malicious; it is unconscionable; it is evil. Our mainstream media has lost any semblance of moral grounding; it is in a leftist-worshipping trance that knows only one response to every administration action: find a way to support it and spin it as good and reasonable.

But lies are lies. They never become true. Americans are not being fooled by what is going on, but their response is now moving well past anger—they are becoming enraged at being lied to and manipulated as if they have no intelligence; as if they have lost the capacity to discern truth from demagoguery.

The best hope for avoiding violence in this second Civil War is the emergence of stronger political leaders and candidates who speak more forcefully and articulately and unequivocally against Obama and what he is doing. They must name Obama and denounce him and everything he is doing. Male or female, and white, black, brown, or yellow—doesn’t matter what the skin color might be—what’s most important is that the message resonates with what the American people are feeling.

If the only thing the American people hear from Republicans or independents are mild objections couched in the language of career politicians who keep trying to contain everything within some norm of conventional political discourse, it will be very difficult for the American people to find a 'pressure-release valve' for their rage. Instead, what they will sense is a complete, across-the-board abdication of responsibility by all who are in positions of authority—government, business, military, media and education— to defend and protect the America of the founding.

The American people will stand up for America. They will not sit back and watch it be destroyed. The only question now is whether they will have the patience to wait until November to storm the voting polls, or whether they will take to the streets before then. The lie-about-Arizona gambit is a plain effort by Obama to push the American people to take to the streets so that he can take action to ‘quell the unrest’.

Other tyrants have found out what happens when they try to trample on the America of the founding. They end up fighting a force and facing a fury they cannot possibly defeat or deal with.

Obama and his leftist cabal are tyrants who are trying to trample on the America of the founding.
